Today we went on the all day hike through the mountains. What beautiful scenery around us all day! It was great being able to slow down a bit and just take time to talk with different people while we were hiking. I was able to spend so time with Peter and we talked about him becoming a Pastor here in Poland. I was also able to send some time talking with others along the 9 mile hike. What a wonderful way to share God's love in his wonderful, beautiful mountain range in Poland. Our time is quickly coming to an end. Please continue to keep us in your prayers and bless our work here as we spend the last two days sharing His word and love.

Today was the first day for every one to put on their long sleeves jeans and sweat shirts. The morning started cold and by evening it had only risen around 5 degrees.
This day for many was the first hit of reality. Our mission will soon be drawing to an end and we are all starting to look at the relationships we have formed and how much we will miss the kids once we leave. The question of is all this worth it was quickly answered during the morning chapel when there were some difficulties with the technology and music. For reasons unknown people weren't sure why the sound on the songs didn't play but that wasn't going to stop the kids. A group of about 10 kids got up went to the front and with no music at all, started singing the songs and doing the actions. There was no point in trying to hide the goose bumps on your arms because everyone had them. Those children, most of which do not speak English well, sang those songs in English to the exact beat that it would have been if the music were playing. It's amazing the things God can do.
The rest of the day was smooth as well with no serious issues until the end of the day. One camper did have an accident and went to the hospital after evening games, but all is well and she is back now and headed to bed here shortly.
Please continue to pray for all of us as we finish out the rest of this week. People are growing tired from lack of sleep and we need prayers for patience to deal with all that's going on. God bless.

The day started out raining so there was no walk. Most took advantage of catching extra zzzzzz"s. The church service was inspirational for all in their own way. Most agreed the campers singing topped the list especially when they started singing Open the Eyes of My Heart on their own when we were at communion. No English words were up on any screen for them and they knew the words and sang it in English. Listening to the sermon between Pastor James and Przemek tag teaming it was uplifting and entertaining. Przemek at on point didn't understand what Pastor was saying so Pastor stuck his tongue out at Przemek to show him tastebuds. The kids loved it. Josh was taken out of his comfort zone with being asked to read the scripture readings. Just so you all know, he survived.
After lunch half of us walked into Wisla while the other half stay and did the scavenger hunt with the campers. I was one that walked into town and enjoyed shopping, cuisine, and a little alone time with my daughter.
This is my second time here and I am glad I gave this particular trip a second try. My first time was stressful about teaching since I am in no way good at that skill. I really didn't enjoy it. The format and team members are different this time and I am enjoying most all of camp. The team has laughed together tremendously. We have also worked together, encouraged each other, and leaned on each other to make it through. It is evident everywhere you look that Our Lord is working here.
Please keep us all in your prayers, (say a few extra for fewer injuries please! ) Hard to believe we only have 3 1/2 days left here.

Saturday, July 25th
What an amazing team we have here this year at camp. We all have touched the lives of a camper, staff, or a counselor in some way this year. God has given us all our needs and has help us get through some bumps and bruises. We have managed to be flexible with our schedules and come up with last minute changes.
Today, our theme was God knows and loves me. He was there for Zacchaeus, even when others weren't. He loves us just the way we are with all our faults, the way we look, and even when we don't do the things we should.
Our English lesson was about the Mexican Americans. We did the hat dance, broke piñatas, painted piñatas, made God's Eyes, and learned about some great food.
The rain came in a downpour about 11:15. You would have thought it was a hurricane the way it rained and the gust of the wind. It only last about 30 minutes, just enough to give everything in God's creation a nice drink.
The evening ended with a great game of Dolphin and Sharks. It was amazing to watch the whole camp play together. written by Lisa

Today was another good day here in Poland. The weather started out great and morning lessons and bible stories went smoothly like normal. Towards the end of the afternoon, however, it started to rain causing sports to be moved inside for the rest of the afternoon. The kids made the best of it though and enjoyed playing mafia in the attic. For the evening activities the kids were given a few different activities to decide from. Some kids sat and played cards and board games. Others sat and made bracelets. The two highlights of the evening were the fingernail painting table and the watching of the movies the kids made over the past few days. At the finger nail painting session some of the girls even let my Dad, Ken, paint their finger nails. The most surprising thing was some of the boy campers even wanted to get their fingers painted too so they didn't feel left out. The movies have been a huge hit with the kids. They are really enjoying writing their own scripts, so much that they have even been using free time to write some of them. Todays movies featured David and Goliath and the other one featured Jesus (who looked like Ghandi in his costume) healing sick people.
Each day the kids are growing more and more outgoing with us Americans. They are teaching us Polish and asking us how to say things in English. Bonds and friendships are being formed everywhere you look. And let me tell you that it is truly great witnessing that each and everyday. Please continue to pray for all of us as we witness God and teach English to the Polish kids.

Each day the kids are growing more and more outgoing with us Americans. They are teaching us Polish and asking us how to say things in English. Bonds and friendships are being formed everywhere you look. And let me tell you that it is truly great witnessing that each and everyday.
