Lisa's Trips: Sunday, July 21st

Today started out with a church service. Pastor talked about God healing us, and opening our eyes to God. That made me think of the song and sang it to myself the rest of the day. Couldn't get it out of my head!!
During church we had a first year blessing of a child. It is from an old custom, that children are blessed after their first birthday as it was believed to be a hardest year of their life. I love watching the proud parents taking their child up. I posted a picture of it.

Then we set up camp. We got the 4 square game taped down, crafts and game equipment down from the attic and then made a couple of the crafts up!!

After lunch many of the Polish counselors came and we got to greet our old friends and then see old campers grown up to be our new Polish counselors! It was fun to see everyone! Tomorrow the campers come!!

After dinner and our evening devotion on getting our strength from God when we think we can't do it!! We came up with many adjectives to describe our wonderful Father.

Then came our evening recreation of Prawo Dżungli. I even won a game tonight. There were a few minor scraps and many battles over the totem!!
