Project Details:
This MOST Ministries ESL mission will be held within the city of Wisla. The team members will be staying at the same location with the students. The eight days of camp are filled with lessons in Bible reading, grammar, vocabulary, idioms, and writing; but that is only half the fun! There will also be arts, crafts, music, drama, recreation and perhaps some bonfires with sing alongs. Students are middle school age. Typically there are 50-60 students who participate in the program. This ESL training is especially offered for the students who cannot afford to attend private English lessons. English has become a language that is very important in business and the tourist industry.

Church /Host Information:
The history of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland is closely connected with the Reformation movement which was started in Germany by pastor Martin Luther and was spreading gradually over other European countries. ITINERARY
Friday, July 31st – Fly from Detroit (2:01 p.m.) to Chicago to Warsaw to Krakow
Saturday, August 1st – Drive to Wisla (southern Poland) and get settled in a rural camp for the week
Sunday, August 2nd – Attend local Lutheran church, set-up for campers (50-70 / 5th through 8th graders)
Monday, August 3rd – Evaluation of individual students English while others do music, crafts & recreation
Tuesday through Saturday – Five days of lessons
Schedule: 8:00 Morning Devotions; Breakfast
9:30 Chapel & Bible study (led by local Pastor)
11:00 – 1:00 English Lessons (Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced) then lunch & free time
2:30 – 5:30 Afternoon Program: Crafts, music, drama, recreation (6 groups with 30 minutes each)
6:00 Dinner, followed by evening activities 8:-8:30 Closing Devotions 8:30-9:30 Team Meeting
Sunday, August 9th – Worship with campers; possible hike or other local activity
Monday through Wednesday – Three more days of lessons & programs
Thursday, August 13th – leave camp and drive to Krakow (staying at a Hostel for two nights)
Friday, August 14th – sightseeing in area
Saturday, August 15th – fly back from Krakow through Warsaw, then Chicago to Detroit (11:44 p.m.)
