Montreal

We made it to Montreal. I am very happy to say that I am not having to much troubles getting around on the Metro, subway. Everything is in French, but thanks to me paying a little attention to my class while they are in French I am able to say a few words and the people are helpful!

We couldn't get into our room, so we stored our suitcases in the hotel and then went exploring. We met people from Chicago and they were following me of all the time.

Dick loved going to the Notre Dame Cathedral. It was amazing. I think that St. Patricks in New York is bigger. The stain glass windows and the alter area is just beautiful.

Then we took the Metro to Olympic Park. The venue has lots of cement! Dick and I walked around the whole thing! I loved standing on one of the medal award areas. This is the closest thing I will ever get to a medal! I thought it was cool that they had plaques of all the gold medalist in the park. You can see a picture of this.

Then we went for more walking in the Botanical Gardens. Gorgeous flowers. I included some of them on the slide show.

Now we are back to our hotel and I am posting this for all of you to see. Tomorrow we will board our ship!
